OrbitalArcs research module — reproducibility kit
Requires Node.js 22+. Extract the entire ZIP, retaining the data directory.
Run: node validate-research.mjs 2026
Run: node validate-research.mjs 2027
Each command checks raw-output SHA-256 checksums and ensures holdout epochs
are not interpolation nodes; it regenerates that year's validation report.
NASA/JPL Horizons API 1.2, DE441; target 3 (Earth-Moon barycenter), Sun 500@10,
geometric state vectors, J2000 ecliptic, KM-S, TDB.
Each year has 366 daily nodes and 1095 withheld 06:00/12:00/18:00 TDB samples.
2027 nodes and holdouts are extracted from one 6-hour reference query.
Exact queries and retrieval times are in the metadata. Raw output is retained.
Sampled interpolation residuals are not absolute accuracy bounds.
UTC conversion, device clocks and DE441 uncertainty are outside this validation.
2027 assumes TT-UTC=69.184 s; future leap-second changes require an update.
No independent scientific certification. Not Earth-center positions.
